Fractional Laser Treatments

Fractional Laser Treatments Laser resurfacing is more effective than any light-based treatment on the market and also less painful and risky than ablative treatment such as FRAXEL. Fractional lasers were developed to quicken the recovery time and reduce the risk of side effects. Laser resurfacing will work to reduce the appearance of fine lines in the face. It is also used to treat the skin tone while improving the complexion. But, laser resurfacing can’t eliminate excessive or sagging skin.

How does a Non-Invasive Fractional Resurfacing Treatment Work? Fractional lasers are used for non-invasive resurfacing treatments using an erbium glass wavelength of 1540 nm, which splits the laser beam into thousands of microbeams to perform micro-coagulation of tissue. This stimulates new collagen and elastin fibers without damaging the skin surface.  In general, all lasers target the chromosphere, including water, melanin, hemoglobin, and oxyhemoglobin, depending on their wavelength.
